Emirates Unveils Bold NBA-Themed Livery Ahead of Emirates NBA Cup

Emirates has revealed a new look and has launched a stunning new design in anticipation of the 2024-25 NBA season and in its capacity as the Official Global Airline Partner of NBA. The striking design seen on the aircraft, an Airbus A380 is in connection with the new event, the Emirates NBA cup. A new blue gradient scheme accompanied by the NBA logo and the basketball illustration will be gradually rolled out across the Emirates fleet next week.

New design is red engine cowls also the company’s logo –Emirates is in bright white handwriting on the sides conveys the spirit of the cooperation between the two organizations. The elaborate painting was done by the Emirates’ own painting team for which it took 24 days.

The revamped aircraft joins a range of NBA-themed services to be offered to passengers who fly on flights to/from 14 US and Canadian cities between November 1 and December 17. This includes headrests with United and Maple Leafs logo, courtside style menus and basketball related dishes and beverages in all classes of cabins. It also announced that passengers will have the ability to watch live NBA cup games on Emirates ice, the inflight entertainment system.

Emirates NBA Cup of 2024 begins on the ’12th of November’ featuring New York Knicks vs Philadelphia 76ers and Golden state warriors vs Dallas mavericks. The finals is scheduled to be held in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on December 17.

Emirates Executive Vice President Boutros Boutros said he is very proud of the partnership with NBA and the particular services which will be offered to passengers. Visitors can also access and buy many products similar to these uniquely created airplanes from the Emirates Official Store.
