Officials of the Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have made arrangements to have the Dubai Metro service even longer than usual on the occasion of UAE National Day at the end of the week.
The Dubai Metro will come into service with slightly adjusted timings from November 30, to December 2. Here’s the updated schedule:
These must operate throughout the weekend, and offer an extra hour of service which makes it easier for passengers to travel during their busiest weekend.
Besides, those travelling by buses should expect some changes in the schedules as well These changes are part of the metro changes. Commuters are encouraged to use the S’hail app for updates on next buses and should consider using public transport regularly, according to the RTA.
The late operations of the metro coincide with Commemoration Day on November 30, UAE National Day on December 2 and a third day of festivities on December 3. This is because the long weekend will be filled activity across Dubai and therefore taking public transport is one of the best ways to get around the city.
Members of the private sector will have a public holiday on Friday, November 29 and working the next week starting from Wednesday, December 4.
If going to the parties or simply embracing them, good news for any residents of Dubai is that the public transport timetable has been increased in this holiday.
