Etihad Expands Jaipur-Abu Dhabi Flights to Meet High Demand

Currently the airline has a service of four a week from Abu Dhabi to Jaipur, plans to elevate the number of flights to ten from December 15, 2024. This decision has arrived in less than four months after the route was launched, thanks to the increasing number of commuters.

Arik De, Etihad Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer stated: ‘This service has witness sensational demand and therefore we will be upgrading the weekly flights to offer the services our guests want in terms of frequency and timings. The new schedule is aimed to provide better connections for people travelling from India to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and other Etihad’s interconnected destinations.

This is because the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has opened its centre in Abu Dhabi Airport to accelerate immigration formalities for travellers from Jaipur to board a connecting flight to the US. The additional flights are part of Etihad’s ongoing plan to strengthen its Indian market offering that has seen it increase capacity by 39 per cent in the last year.

Said extra service will be performed with Airbus A320 family airplanes, arranged in Business and Economy classes. The free nights’ stopover package also offered by Etihad to the travelers provide up to two free night’s accommodation in premium hotels that point towards the growing status of Abu Dhabi as a travel and tourism hub.
