RTA Announces Service Timings for New Year’s Holiday 2025

The RTA has released the working plan of its services during New Year holiday 2025 to include the transportation, parking, and service stations in Dubai.

Chapters 6 Constitutional Structures for Customer Populated Spaces:- Service Provider Centres and Customer Happiness Centres.
All service provider centres and Customer Happiness Centres would remain shut down on this date January Ist, 2025. Further normal operations will be conducted from January 2, 2025.

Dubai Metro

  • December 31, 2024: 5:00 AM to 11:59 PM
  • January 1, 2025: 12:00 midnight to 11:59 PM

Dubai Tram

  • December 31, 2024: 6:00 AM to 11:59 PM
  • January 1, 2025: 12:00 midnight to 1:00 AM

Public Buses

In shared shuttle for specific timing of buses use S’hail application More Information For Economical and E102 will cease to operate on the 31/12/2024 and 01/01/2025. They are advised to use E101 or E102 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station.

Marine Transport

  • Water Taxi: They are allow to run from 12:00 noon to 00:00 with specified routes such as Marina Mall – Bluewaters at customers request only.
  • Dubai Ferry: There are different routs, for example, Al Ghubaiba to Dubai Water Canal has been scheduled at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
  • Abras: Those crossing Dubai Creek and Festival City run between 11am and midnight.
  • Tourist trips: The boat trips around Dubai Water Canal and Sheikh Zayed Marine Station will be from 4:00 PM- 10:15 PM.

Public Parking

Every shared parking garage except multi-storey car parks will be free on January 1, 2025. Car parks that were earlier free, become paid from January second 2025.
