RTA Set to Mark 15th Anniversary of Dubai Metro with Festive Celebrations

The RTA of Dubai is now getting ready for the 15th anniversary of the successful operation of the iconic Dubai Metro which will be celebrated under the slogan “15 Years on Track”. Regarding celebrations, there will be various promotions, entertainment activities and some special stunts which would be rather joyful for people of Dubai as well as guests.

Several organizations are supporting this year’s celebration as; The Strategic Partner, Keolis-MHI, the operators of Dubai Metro and Tram, Campaign Partners, LEGO Middle East, LEGOLAND Dubai, IGLOO, Al Jaber Gallery and Emirates Post.

Another novelty of the festivities will be the release of the Limited Edition Post Stamps by Emirates Post for collectors devoted to this important celebration. The RTA will also release a Special Edition nol Card during the Campaign to contain the Campaign’s logo and a design from LEGO Middle East. Other entertainment facilities such as souvenirs connected with the Dubai Metro can be purchased at Al Jaber Gallery, and thus there will be even more means of celebration of this significant achievement.

One of the most heartening activities is “Metro Babies” at LEGOLAND Dubai which is planned at 21st September, 2024. The RTA has invited children who were born between 9th September, 2009 and 9th September, 2023 to participate in the study with registration being conducted through the RTA website which is www. rta. ae. This gathering is meant for those people, who have the privilege to celebrate the birthday on the same day as the beginning of Dubai Metro.

The event will be made a little more sweet by the launch of special IGLOO ice creams in the shape of the Dubai Metro. From this, 5, 000 will specify codes on the sticks in which lucky customers will win free access to spend at nol Terhaal.

Dubai Metro Music Festival: North facing stations to host live performances by Emirati and international artists in the fourth edition of the festival. From the 21st to the 27th of September, this event has been established by the Brand Dubai, the creative wing of the Dubai Government’s Media Office with further participation of the numerous residents and tourists expected.
