The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of Abu Dhabi has revealed the schedule and details of the public transport services, that would run during the Hijri New Year holiday, scheduled on Friday, June 27, 2025. Because of the Islamic New Year 1447, all Customer Happiness Centres in the emirate will be shut down and will reopen on Monday, June 30, 2025.

The closure of physical centres however is temporally since residents can still enjoy vital services using different digital applications. These are the official site admobility.gov.ae, Darbi mobile application, Tamm government portal and ITC Support Centre 800850. Taxi Service Call Centre 600535353 will also be at the call at any time.

As regards the transportation system, the Abu Dhabi governmental bus transport will work on its weekend and bank holidays schedule so that it will be convenient to travel across the emirate during the vacation. The ITC further affirmed that there will be more bus trips on the regional and intercity routes to meet the rising demand.

Other unique services adjustments involve the Abu Dhabi Link that will be serviced daily 6 am to 11 pm and the Abu Dhabi Express with a longer service time of 6 am till midnight.

The announcement also guarantees the smooth flow of the movement of people in Abu Dhabi throughout Hijri New Year and inspires the residents to use digital services in the transportation of people.

This holiday is the first working day of the Islamic lunar year 1447 and the work of all state structures in the UAE will have to be postponed.
