Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi, with the new Census 2023, has touched 3,789,860 records which is an 83% increase in the population of the emirate within 2011. This census was the first to be be completed solely using register data where the male population was found to comprise 67% and have a median age of 33.
Primary source of information reveal that out of the total population of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, two point four nine five five lakh people live in the Abu Dhabi region and contribution is as high as sixty – six percent. Second, Al Ain has a population of 1,009,735, representing 27%; while, Al Dhafra has 284,205 individuals, 7%.
Employment Growth
Employment has continued to rise over the years and in the current year it is at 2,522,390 after rising by 82% since 2011. White-collar employees range at 46 % with a 109% boost while the blue-collar employees stand at 54 %; a 65% share.
Housing and Infrastructure
This emirate has recorded a raise of 66% of its Residential as well as non–Residential Units since 2011and are now 754,555 units. In going further investigating, the number of residential units stands at 441,410, while the non-residential units stand are at 313,145.
