Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum The Dubai Future Forum 2024 will host more than 2.5 thousand futurists and international speakers at the Museum of the Future on November 19-20. As part of the Super Tuesday events hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), this is the largest annual meeting of futurists-ever; ever anticipated with participants from over 100 countries and 100 foresight institutions.
Now in its third year, the forum’s main purpose is to provide coverage of global problems, discuss prospects for their solution, and encourage forward-thinking ideas in various fields of activity. His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Vice Chairman of DFF, said that DFF is a platform to continue positive discussions of global challenges. ”Speaking at the Dubai Future Forum Gala Dinner, the vision is to build partnerships that drive the future agenda around the world as Dubai at the core of this progress,” he said.
The 2024 forum will focus on five main themes: Nature, Advancement for Future Generations, Change, Health and Resourceful Future Visionary. These themes will set overtone of the talks on energy, food, artificial intelligence, the digital economy, biomedical, nature and sustainable societal systems. There will be more than 70 panels and workshops with over 150 speakers, including ministers, leaders of CEOS, academics, as well as futurists mapping out the way to a sustainable and innovative future.
This year also sees the announcement of 100 initiatives as part of ‘Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity’ with AED 100 million funding by the Hussain Sajwani – DAMAC Foundation. The initiative has been setup under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and focuses on creating innovation in addressing societal problems.
Supplementing the forum with other activities occurring on the scale of the city and involving cultural workshops, the showings of films, and public debates. Dubai Future Forum 2024 offers its visitors and participants engaging activities and informative sessions to strengthen Dubai’s position as the hub of futuristic discussion and sustainable ideas.
