Dubai Future Foundation DFF, in collaboration with The Executive Council of Dubai, has today announced the launching of the new round of the Dubai Future Experts Program , (DEEP). This landmark project is set to develop an accredited community of foresight practitioners within major government industries in Dubai and improving the ability of Emirati professionals to anticipate the future of the emirate.
DEEP was initiated with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and the Minister of Defence, and aims at providing a progressive learning framework in strategising in foresight, policy-making and innovation.
Two-Tier Training Program
The program contains two tiers:
May–June 2025: Certified Foresight Practitioner: It involves the training of the participants on methodologies of foresight, horizon scanning as well as the building of scenarios.
Certified Foresight Ambassador (September–October 2025): A project-based module that will provide the opportunity to the participants to design and present the foresight project related to the future issues of Dubai.
DEEP was considered by Abdulaziz Al Jaziri, the Deputy CEO of DFF, to be a key factor in developing government leadership for the future.
“Through the introduction of the Strategic Foresight within government entities – a revolutionary approach within the field of work of Dubai’s government, we see that this concept is essential for the future policy making.”
Participation entails participants to be awarded with a certificate in Strategic Foresight together with access to a strategic foresight community and an invite to other events in DFF.
