His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum leads the second edition of #RamadanInDubai campaign in Dubai. The creative branch of the Government of Dubai Media Office through Brand Dubai develops the initiative to create a unified celebration of Holy Month as it merges traditional customs with contemporary activities across Dubai.
This Ramadan the campaign combines public sector and private sector partnerships to deliver events and interactive installations alongside charitable programs that represent the core values of the festival. Vice Chairperson Mona Al Marri of the Dubai Media Council declared that the campaign supports Dubai’s dedication to fostering diversity and inclusivity among the community.
The city underwent a complete build-up during Ramadan with lighting decorations alongside heritage activities and market areas. The transfer of visitors to Dubai results in a distinctive #RamadanInDubai stamp in their passport whereas mosque projections create spectacular visual displays. The competition for home decorations during Ramadan will apply with Ferjan Dubai to inspire residents to design their spaces with Ramadan-inspired designs.
Through its community outreach programs the campaign offers social services by providing food assistance to needy people. The tradition of the Ramadan Cannon maintained by Dubai Police will persist at numerous sites to bring more joy to the city’s atmosphere.
The #RamadanInDubai blend of social events together with cultural entertainment creates a special atmosphere which unifies residents with visitors for contemplative and celebratory Holy Month experiences.
