Dubai Police Launches ‘Health Hub’ for Rapid Recovery at UAE Swat Challenge

New centre treats 90% of cases on-site, enhancing athlete performance and well-being

In line with the event, Dubai Police provides the Medical, preventive, and rehabilitation facilities for the athletes of the UAE Swat Challenge 2025 through Health Hub center. This sports facility is well equipped with modern technology needed in improving on the recuperation of the athletes as well as putting them in proper shape for the competitions aches.

Advanced Medical Support for Athletes

In partnership with the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services and Mediclinic, the Health Hub product specialization is in the area of sports medicine and emergency. It has averagely handled 90% of medical cases touching the five-day event without the need to refer patients to hospitals.

In an interview with the Health Hub’s Supervisor, Colonel Dr. Mohammed Al Haj, he further elucidated that the science of sports has progressed beyond mere physical stature; the new technique includes recovery approaches as well. This enumerated that of the 186-boardings treated at the facility, 978 participants received the recovery services.

High-Tech Treatments and Free Services

Health Hub provides the client with a selection of the most innovative services that include:
🩸 Cryo & Infrared Therapy – Inflammation, pain and muscle spasms
Self massage & stretching – Regain flexibility and avoid possible physical injuries
✔️Ice Baths – Helps end rapid convalescence and oedema

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Khaled Ibrahim Al Khayat, the Director of Medical Operations that everybody mentioned above receive these services for free since Dubai police provides it for the participating teams only.

A Holistic Approach to Athlete Health

Besides, there are physiotherapy services that are designed in the centre after assessing the level of strength endurance and haulage to help those who need special care to rebuild their strength and stamina through counselling on proper diet and exercise.

This only goes a long way in supporting Dubai’s quest in promoting and offering sports medicine to elite athletes during one of the most competitive sporting events in the UAE .
