Dubai’s New Year’s Eve 2025: Comprehensive Plans Unveiled for Safe and Spectacular Celebrations

Dubai is preparing for the exotic New Year celebration 2025, 36 firework shows proposed for Burj Khalifa and major landmarks such as Global Villages and Dubai Design Districts. Working under the umbrella of the Events Security Committee with the support of 55 government and private partnerships, detailed plan has been developed envisaging safety, effectiveness and fun at institutions.

Strategic Sector Division

In Continuation to the successful previous year, Dubai is divided into four operational zones to administer security and service, they are the North Zone, Central Zone, Western Zone, and Maritime Zone. Dubai Police will mobilise 8,530 individuals, 1,145 patrols, 33 marine rescue boats and six mobile operation rooms to monitor activities. Special marquees in Downtown Dubai will include first aid, errand services, and service for lost children.

Worker-Friendly Initiatives

Large workers’ screens and meals have been arranged for the workers to watch the celebrations without going to the crowded areas.

Traffic and Transport Plans

Measures implemented by RTA include closure of Roads around Burj Khalifa starting from 4 PM, use of 260 shuttle buses and non-stop Dubai Metro for 43 hours. More spots will be created with buses to major stakes accepted.

Health and Safety Measures

Besides, Dubai Health has built a field hospital close to Burj Khalifa and has placed 1, 800 medical employees in six medical centers and seven medical spots. Support services consist of emergency service vehicles such as ambulances and marine rescue boats and telemedicine using phone numbers from a contact center.

Strategies used in Municipal and Civil Defence

Dubai Municipality will utilize 2,776 numbers staffs and 246 numbers of vehicle for cleaning and food security. Dubai Civil Defence has employed 1097 fighters and 123 benders for emergencies in five sectors.

Assistant to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Lt-Gen Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri said that the people also played the same role in maintaining security during the event and having fun. By such elaborate preparations, Dubai is set for another spectacular New Year’s Eve occasion.
