Likely, this year already at the time of the celebrations of the upcoming Eid Al Adha and within the framework of the action “One Cannon – Seven Locations”, this event will also be traditional and will take place in seven areas of Dubai, according to the Dubai Police. This practice, deeply rooted in the UAE’s heritage, will take place around 5:45 AM local time after the Eid prayers.
As for the cannon team commanded by Lt-Col Abdullah Tarish Al Amimi, he said all avenues have been prepared for this traditional event which is of huge social value. Unlike most of them, firing cannons is not only associated with Eid Al Adha but also with baking the fast during Ramadan and the beginning of Eid Al Fitr.
