Dubai Metro Music Festival’s fourth installment kicked off offering a lively musical spectacle at five Dubai metro stations. The festival has been organized by Brand Dubai in cooperation with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) presenting world music for audiences, which transforms the daily drive into an entertainment event.
The annual music festival that takes place from September 21 through to September 27 will feature 20 young musicians from the UAE and other countries, who play various musical instruments and in different styles. Daily shows are daily held from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at some of the stations, such as The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, BurJuman, Union and DMCC. Participants including the commuters and visitors of the fest from will be able to witness a variety of performances that includes strings and percussion and new inventions made from objects in the compound.
This year’s festival falls in line with its energy and uniqueness as a Dubai creative festival with performances changing daily to avoid repetition. It shares Dubai’s passion for cultural tolerance and the promotion of creativity, which makes it one of the most anticipated annually in Dubai.
