How to Get to Yas Marina Circuit for the Grand Prix from Dubai for Free

Fans of Formula 1 racing that plan to go to the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi to attend the last race of the season will be glad to hear that they can now use complimentary shuttle buses for the fans with tickets. Here is the list of what you can do, including are absolutely free options or services as well as public transport or cheapest resources.

Yas Marina Circuit to offer Free Shuttle Buses

Fans can embrace free shuttle services from the various points within Dubai to the venue they were issued their tickets for. These buses are used during race days only, on Thursdays, this Thursday, December 5, and Sundays, this Sunday, December 8.

Key Details:

  • Eligibility: This is only applicable to a holder of a valid Grand Prix ticket or an e-voucher.
  • Departure Times: All routes start at 9:30 A.M., but there are some routes which start only at 10:00 A.M. or 11:00 A.M.

Pick-Up Locations:

  • Al Barsha: Doubletree by Hilton, Mercure Hotel.
  • Dubai Marina: Millennium Palace Marina.
  • JBR: Rixos Premium – JA Ocean View Hotel.
  • Sheikh Zayed Road: Millennium Plaza Downtown, Towers Rotana.
  • Deira: Howard Johnson in Deira City Centre.

Other place are namely Al Seef and JA The Resort.

  • Drop-Off Location: IMG: Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, which is a very short distance from the circuit.
    When you want to attend a show, you should ensure that you get there 10-15 minutes early because it only opens doors to whoever comes first to claim a seat.

Public Transport Options

For those without race tickets, intercity buses are a convenient alternative:

E100 (Al Ghubaiba Bus Station) or E101 (Ibn Battuta Mall):

  • Fare: Dhs30 (tap with Nol Card).
  • Travel Time: 1.5–2 hours.
  • Frequency: Every 20–25 minutes.
  • Abu Dhabi Inner-City Buses: One may use the 190 bus or the Experience Abu Dhabi Shuttle, which covers Yas Island and other tourist destination.

Cheap and economical Taxis and Cab Pooling

Regular Taxi Fares:

  • Approximate cost: Dhs195–255 from Dubai to Yas Marina Circuit.
    Shared Taxis:
  • New RTA service cuts fares between 50-75 percent for shared THR, which start from Ibn Battuta Mall.
    Hailing the free shuttle service or a cheap bus, getting to the Grand Prix is easier than ever before.
