Indian Expat Wins $1 Million in Dubai Duty Free Draw, Plans to Invest in Children’s Education

A resident of Abu Dhabi, this Indian engineer become a millionaire on Wednesday in the latest draw of the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire. Khaliq Naik Mohammed, a 48 year old a resident of UAE capital since 2012, has been participating in the offers of Dubai Duty free for last four years. Khaliq belongs to Hyderabad and is employed as an engineer-instructor at a university; he is a father of three children.

When asked about his plans on the money he would receive for the prize he said that majority of the money will be used in his children’s education as well as for the family and also for charity.

After the evening ERA draw of the Millennium Millionaire at the airport, the Finest Surprise draw for one luxury car and two motorbikes was made. Nazeer E. , an ambitious 44 years old Pakistan national residing in Dubai claimed a Mercedes Benz S500 car. Nazeer lives in Dubai for the past 20 years and employed in a logistics firm, he was previous winner of BMW F 900 XR motorbike in 2022.

Kevin D Sousa, a 40-year-year old Portuguese man currently living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates since end of 2017, received BMW S 1000 R motorbike as the prize. Kevin is a married man and a father of two children He is a pilot by profession and has been participating in the offer promoted by Dubai Duty Free since the year 2021.

Finally, an Indian living in the UAE Rajasekaran Samaresan claimed a BMW R 1250 RS motorbike.

Such victories draw the attention to the fact that participating in promotions can change a person’s life and lots of expatriates won impressive prizes over the course of time cooperating with Dubai Duty Free.
