A special meeting was organized with the Italian senior police representatives including Prefect Raffaele Grassi, Deputy Chief of police-force and Prefect Annunziato Vardè, Director of the Planning and Coordination Office of Police Forces. Also present was Colonel Tariq Sultan Al Suwaidi, the Director of the Wanted Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation of the Dubai Police .
This visit was dedicated to improving cooperation in matters concerning policing, security, and fight against organized crime. They included considerations on how to achieve counter measures for organized and transnational crime, drug trafficking, as well as on the utilization of cryptocurrencies for money laundering.
