Dubai’s favourite festive tradition is officially making a comeback. The Madinat Jumeirah Christmas Market 2025 has confirmed its return dates, and thousands of residents are already planning their winter calendars. The festive market will open on Friday, December 5, and continue spreading Christmas cheer until Wednesday, December 31 — giving families almost a full month of holiday magic.

The Madinat Jumeirah Christmas Market 2025 is known for its iconic photos under a 36-foot Christmas tree, dreamy abra rides that glide through the Madinat canals, and the smell of fresh mince pies filling the air. Entry is completely free, which makes it an easy choice for an evening stroll with friends, date nights, and family outings without spending a dirham.

While the full lineup hasn’t been revealed yet, the market traditionally features a mix of dining pop-ups, festive shopping stalls, live music with carol singers, Santa appearances, and themed abra rides. Last year, the abra ride with Santa became one of Dubai’s most shared Christmas moments on social media — and it’s expected to return in 2025. The timings are designed to make it a perfect after-work plan during weekdays and an afternoon-to-late festive day out on weekends. From Monday to Thursday, the market opens at 3pm and runs late into the night. From Friday to Sunday, it opens noon till late, so visitors can enjoy both day and night experiences under the festive lights.

Whether you want mulled drinks overlooking the water, cool winter weather in Dubai, or simply the Christmas vibes without flying to Europe — Madinat Jumeirah’s market delivers every year.
