On Saturday during his visit to DI’s Terminal 3 to assess the progress of improvements, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, commended the advancement of the UAE air travel industry.
When the minister was visiting the terminal, he informed Sheikh Mohammed about the newest projects that are meant to enhance the available terminals’ attributes and services. He spent some time watching how things work in different sections of the airport and asked the kind of amenities are provided to the people passing through the airport whether going out or coming in.
”Effective cultural relations are manifested in the design of airports, which allows Dubai International Airport to reflect our vision of the future,” Sheikh Mohammed said.
‘On behalf of the airport I would like to thank all the teams hard at work here for the excellent work showing Dubai as the preferred global destination to many of the travllers. ’
From the side of the Dubai side, Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, the chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the Chairman of the Board of Dubai Airports.
The airport experiences passing through 23 million of travellers within the first quarter of 2024 and 8. 4 percent higher than the first quarter of the previous year 2023.
