Next year, the first dealership selling the Lada automobiles in the UAE will be launched, with AvtoVAZ head Maxim Sokolov expressing it. TALKING WITH TASS, SOKOLOV REPORTED THAT THE CAR SAFETY CERTIFICATION IS NECESSARY TO BEGIN SELLING THOSE CARS THROUGH THE DEALERSHIP, AND THE PLAN IS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS BY THE END OF THE YEAR 2024.
‘The next year will be dedicated to re-equipping and further opening of the dealership’ Sokolov said and further adding that the Middle Eastern partners have taken the entire line of Lada products for testing. He seemed confident about the stability of Lada’s presence across most markets in UAE.
Sokolov stated that the owner of at least the planned dealership in the UAE had visited the AvtoVAZ plant in Tolyatti to sign the dealer agreement. Every new car we enter, needs recertification and as we have introduced Lada to the UAE market, certifications need to be updated soon as there are changes in electronics, controls, and security systems in all the models.
