Ramadan 2025: UAE Announces Official Work Hours for Public Sector

Government ministries and federal entities under FAHR leadership received their official working schedules for Ramadan 2025 from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources in the UAE.

Officials in government offices must work from 9:00 AM until 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday as per the circular release. Beginning at 9:00 AM each Friday the workplace schedule will span until 12:00 PM.

During the month of Ramadan federal entities can execute flexible operation times and remote work programs based on their unique requirements yet all active shifts must match approved hours of service. The shift in working hours guarantees public sector productivity through solutions which support worker spiritual and social requirements during Ramadan.
