Sheikh Tahnoon Meets Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos to Explore AI Collaboration

The one-on-one meetings with the CEOs of Tesla and Amazon were based on the development of AI technology and increasing the UAE’s role in the emerging future AI economy worldwide.

Musk and Putin have talked about the latest tendencies in the sphere of artificial intelligence and hi-tech in addition to the possibilities of advancing the cooperation between the two realms. The discussion with Bezos aimed at presenting the subject of Global Partnerships that can influence technological advancement as well as leadership with reference to the rapidly evolving technological world.

On X, (formerly Twitter) sheikh Tahnoon echoed the UAE’s big picture vision, where the nation is keen on cultivating talent in artificial intelligence as well as creating cross sector partnerships to consider the next phase of AI.

These discussions came after Sheikh Tahnoon and the US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan supported the Common Principles for Cooperation on AI at the White House on September 23, 2024. This MOU presents shared guidelines for the UAE and the US to jointly approach the development of “safe, secure, and trustworthy AI” as well as active AI governance, cybersecurity, andstile sustainable AI growth.

They took place amid the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s landmark visit to the United States; technology and Artificial Intelligence did not cease to be among the major subjects of discussion between the UAE and the US officials during his visit.
