UAE President Congratulates Mauritanian Leader on Election Victory

During a phone call today, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani for recent presidential election win on becoming the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. Sheikh Mohamed also wished lucky stars to President Ghazouani to ensure that he leads the nation to more development.

During their talk, Sheikh Mohamed also stressed on the importance of the two countries’ continued close cooperation between himself and President Ghazouani. He underlined the significance of integration and synergy as the key to reciprocally beneficial relations as well as to developing the cooperation between the Emirati and Mauritanian peoples.

President Ghazouani said thank you to Sheikh Mohamed for the kind words and the warm congratulations. He blessed the UAE President for Extended Youth, Health and Happiness and further extended his wishes for the all round development and prosperity of UAE.

It reaffirmed the UAE-Mauritania cooperation stressing the coordination of both countries in order to improve their cooperation and transition to greater benefit of the two countries.
