UAE President to Begin State Visit to China on May 30

Abu Dhabi: The UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will pay a state visit to China on Thursday, 30 May, 2019 following an invite by China’s President His Excellency Xi Jinping.

During the visit, Sheikh Mohamed holds meeting with the outgoing president Xi Jinping where they are expected to discuss the existing relations between the UAE and China and prospects of partnership between two countries in economic development, culture among other areas, WAM reported.

It will be held in the context of the Developing Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with the UAE and China to facilitate the respective country’s development and economy.

Besides the closed talks, Sheikh Mohamed will partake in the events related to the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic relations of the UAE and China. He will also attend the 10th Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum.

The meetings of the UAE and Chinese Presidents are also going to address the issues on the regional and the international level of interest for the two nations with common interest to strengthen dialogue and cooperation to uphold the international peace and order.
