VFS Global Warns UAE Visa Applicants Against Fraud

A few weeks ago, VFS Global has posted an urgent note of caution for visa seekers in the UAE and other countries, where it instructed them not to pay any fees to third parties purporting to represent the company in any way. This advisory has been released before the onset of the summer holidays that is usually characterized by massive travels. VFS Global also notes that it still does not make money from booking appointments on its main Internet site, vfsglobal. com. The appointment booking, on the other hand, may include service fees that can be paid in advance by some governments then refunded or adjusted on another occasion. This measure will help filter out people not in genuine need of the system or con artists posing as such.

During its #DoNotFallForFraud campaign, VFS Global encourages travelers to be organized in preparation, to have a valid passport and sufficient funds for expenses, to opt for a fast track option if necessary, and to monitor the need for obtaining a visa. It highlights the tradition of delivering relevant data as well as submitting necessary documents on time. Services like Visa At Your Door, Premium Lounge, do not expedite processing time but it can be availed in case of emergency.

Those who wish to secure an appointment for a visa application can do so through the Internet since appointments are made on a first-come, first-serve basis and the availability of slots solely depend on the governments of their respective embassies/consulates. To the contrary, VFS Global does not control the visa application process, rules for visa, its duration or time taken to process any application which is controlled by the government.

VFS Convey does state fake people are posing as its representatives alsoCurrently, VFS Global said scammers are pretending to be part of the firm and advised applicants to check the following: the links of the websites and the VFS Global logo. The organization never tracks or seeks personal details its members through social media, e-mails, sms or phone calls unless such calls are from traced and genuine individuals /companies.

In addition VFS Global emphasizes to communities that they do not get involved in job placements or immigration fraud and warns people against con artists who offer fake job or immigration vacancies in exchange for cash.
