Fitness fans in the UAE are about to experience something new. Global functional fitness brand DEKA is officially launching in the region with a major event at Skydive Dubai on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Created by the team behind Spartan, DEKA is often described as the decathlon of functional fitness and hybrid racing. After successful events across the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Europe and Asia, the brand is now making its UAE debut.
What Is DEKA FIT?
The inaugural UAE race will introduce the DEKA FIT format — a structured competition designed to test endurance, strength and consistency.
Athletes will complete:

10 functional fitness zones

500 metres of running between each zone

A total of 5 kilometres of running across the course
The format is built to be measurable and repeatable, allowing participants to track their performance over time. It’s suitable for seasoned competitors and ambitious first-timers alike.
Compete Solo or as a Team
Participants can register as individuals or compete in two-person teams. Categories include:

Elite Men and Elite Women

Female, Male and Mixed Team heats
Elite competitors will also race for a cash prize pot, raising the stakes for top-performing athletes.
Spectator passes and a family wave are free, while entry fees for competitors start from Dhs320.
