Dubai drew global attention at GITEX EUROPE x AI Everything 2025, presenting a unified pavilion in Berlin that brought together 12 government and private entities to demonstrate how artificial intelligence is transforming public services, safety, and commerce across the emirate.
The exhibition, held at Messe Berlin from 21 to 23 May 2025, was inaugurated by UAE Minister of State for Entrepreneurship H.E. Alia bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei and Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner. The pavilion highlighted how AI and digital technology are improving residents' lives and driving sustainable growth, directly supporting the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
Government Digital Services on Display
Among the standout exhibits were Dubai Dashboard, Dubai Monitor, and Dubai FAL — platforms that give decision-makers a real-time, 360-degree view of the emirate's performance indicators. Visitors also saw the Smart Employee app, which integrates AI across all financial and human resources services in a single interface.
DubaiNow and UAE Pass were central to the showcase. UAE Pass, the country's first secure national digital identity, allows citizens, residents, and visitors to access government services quickly using facial recognition — a technology that continues to set Dubai apart in e-government delivery.
Public Safety and Autonomous Policing
Dubai Police presented the UASC Drone Box, part of an autonomous policing ecosystem designed to enhance surveillance and rapid response. Alongside it, the General Command of Dubai Civil Defense introduced Shaheen — a firefighting drone engineered to operate at altitudes of up to 200 metres — and unveiled the world's first Civil Defense Readiness Programme.
Business, Customs, and Cybersecurity
The Department of Economy and Tourism highlighted the Invest in Dubai platform and the Open Bank Account Journey, both designed to make establishing and running a business in Dubai faster and simpler.
Dubai Customs showcased Al Munasiq, an AI application that processes harmonised system (HS) codes with greater accuracy and speed. On the cybersecurity front, the Dubai Electronic Security Center presented the Dubai Cybersecurity Index alongside advanced systems for continuous threat monitoring.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Dubai Future Foundation, and DIFC Courts were also among the participating entities, reinforcing the breadth of Dubai's innovation ecosystem.
Aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33
H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of the Digital Dubai Authority, said Dubai's participation demonstrated how government collaboration is central to delivering on the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 — the strategic blueprint to make Dubai one of the world's top cities for innovation by 2033.
The international exhibition underscored Dubai's determination to embed AI across government, business, public safety, and community well-being, projecting the emirate's digital ambitions on a European stage for the first time through GITEX EUROPE.
