The UAE equestrian team triumphed on the first day of the 2024 International Tent Pegging Championship in Traditional Sport Dress on Friday securing the Lance category silver medal. The championship, under the aegis of the International Tent Pegging Federation, is occurring in Moscow on 9th-15th of July. The UAE national team is represented by five skilled riders: These are Abdullah Mohammed Al Shamsi, Saif Mubarak Al Harthi, Fahad Shanwan Al Shamri, Saif Saeed Al Junaibi, and Mohammed Abdullah Hussain.

The UAE NOC has outlined plans of the Nation for the upcoming paris summer Olympics 2024 that will be held between 26th July and 11th August. There are scheduled to be 10 500 athletes from 200 National Olympic Committees, as well as 32 sports with 329 events in 35 venues.
