His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of the latest cohort of the Master's Degree in International Business Law Executive Leadership Programme at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 12 September 2024. The programme is jointly delivered by DIFC Academy and the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, one of Europe's foremost institutions for legal education.
Scholarships for Leadership Graduates
During the ceremony, Sheikh Hamdan announced that graduates of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD) will benefit from dedicated scholarships enabling them to pursue postgraduate studies in international business law. The scholarships are designed to deepen legal and business expertise among UAE's next generation of leaders, equipping them to address complex international legal challenges faced by organisations operating in global markets.
His Highness presented the Master's degrees to graduates and joined them for commemorative photographs at the conclusion of the event.

The programme aligns with the overarching education strategy championed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Under the Dubai Social Agenda 33, Dubai aims to be ranked among the world's top 10 cities for education quality by 2033 — a target that drives continuous investment in world-class academic partnerships and postgraduate opportunities.
About the DIFC Academy Programme
The International Business Law Executive Leadership Programme was established in 2018 through a strategic partnership between DIFC Academy and the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Its core objective is to develop skilled legal and regulatory leaders equipped to navigate the demands of international markets. The curriculum provides graduates with a comprehensive legal framework spanning commercial law, regulatory compliance, and cross-border dispute resolution — competencies increasingly critical in the UAE's growing role as a global financial and trade hub.
