Ben Affleck did not attend the display of Jennifer Lopez’s “Atlas” in Los Angeles thereby further fueling split rumors. Lopez arrived alone to the red carpet wearing her wedding ring and an inspiring attire.
It’s been 47 days since fans last saw the two together with Lopez alone at the Met Gala and the last event the two attended together was on May 16 to support their children. Although they both got to the scene independently, each was adorned with the wedding ring.
Celebrity matchmaker Alessandra Conti expressed that there may be remnants with the couple’s problems appearing again. She said, “The first time the two teams met was in 2002 and the two parted in 2004 probably due to similar problems that might be resurfacing again since we are at approximately the two-year mark here”.
As recently as Sunday, Affleck and Lopez were capturing the attention of onlookers while smiling in Los Angeles. Conti, the relationship expert, pointed out that love appears to have its issues at the two-year point because the couple is out of their initial “infatuation stage” or as sometimes call the honeymoon.
The couple has been surrounded with various rumors and some of the insiders close to them have given different information. Some reports stated that Affleck believed the last two years felt like a “fever dream while others cited their contrasting ways of handling attention from the media as a burden. Lopez is comfortable with media attention while Affleck is not; the couple becomes tense.
This is true in spite of divorce rumours where both Lopez and Affleck remain supportive of each other in public. Lopez recently ‘liked’ a social media post about healthy relationships, and relationship coach Lenna Marsak says fans should be kind towards her for it.
This couple did not attend the Met Gala because Affleck was busy shooting for ‘The Accountant 2’ in Los Angeles. On the other hand, Lopez intends to take her twins, Max and Emme along on the ‘This Is Me … Live’ tour because it would be her last tour and she feels that the twins are still too young and should tour with her first before they grow up.
Complexies of their marriage continue to unfold under the limelight as the two lovers reconnected and got married in July 2022. Despite all the recent speculations though, they both continue to show that they are ready to stay together.
