Abu Dhabi International Book Fair

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair maintains its 34th edition as it unfolds until May 5 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The main theme this year focuses on “Knowledge Illuminates Our Community” to emphasize reading as a uniting force that spreads power among individuals while creating links and encouraging inspiration. Thousands of visitors together with industry professionals from the worldwide community join the fair during the week to celebrate literature while sharing creative ideas and intellectual perspectives.

ADIBF establishes itself as a significant international literary event which uses diverse programming events to encourage reading while sharing knowledge. The fair will grow further in 2024 by attracting more than 230,000 attendees who function as professionals in the publishing sector along with authors and creative talent. The event attracts three distinguished guests this year which include well-known author Conn Iggulden and historians Professor Julian Jackson while political analyst Dr. Roy Casagranda joins them.

The week of activities at ADIBF provides visitors with diverse cultural and literary events that include poetry readings, art displays, translation discussion panels as well as industry workshops. Apart from photography the schedule includes workshops for cinema and culinary arts. Children enjoy interactive activities at this special section while cultural groups are explored through food and language under the World’s Cuisine program.

The event this year flows with the UAE’s Year of Community requirements while continuing to support dialogue and cultural connections for the future. The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair provides a shared space for writers to meet publishers and readers to exchange stories and meaningful discussions take place.

Daily hours at the fair extend from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM. The public can find updated information and schedules about the event by following @abudhabibookfair on their social media pages.
