Ramadan routines change fast in Dubai, and commute timing becomes a real thing people plan around. For Ramadan 2026, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed temporary updates for Salik toll rates, paid public parking hours, and Dubai Metro and Tram operating times. If you drive to Iftar, head out late after prayers, or rely on public transport, here is what is officially listed.
Salik Ramadan 2026 Toll Rates and Hours
Salik will run Ramadan pricing with three daily time windows, and the rates depend on whether it is Sunday or a weekday.
Monday to Saturday
From 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the toll is AED 6. From 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, the toll is AED 4. From 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, the toll is AED 4. From 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM, passage is free.
Sunday
From 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the toll is AED 4. From 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, the toll is AED 4. From 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, the toll is AED 4. From 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM, passage is free.
The evening Iftar window sits in the AED 4 bracket. The full Ramadan 2026 Salik schedule also applies the AED 4 rate during the 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM morning window, and Sunday daytime pricing drops from AED 6 to AED 4 throughout the month.
Paid Parking Hours for Ramadan 2026
RTA has confirmed revised paid public parking hours across Dubai for Ramadan 2026.
From Monday to Saturday, paid parking applies in two separate time blocks: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, then 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
That leaves 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM as a free window — timed to fall around Maghrib prayer and the start of Iftar. Multi-storey parking facilities remain available 24 hours a day. Sundays are tariff-free for public parking throughout the holy month.
Dubai Metro and Tram Ramadan 2026 Timings
For public transport, RTA's Ramadan 2026 schedule keeps late nights covered, especially on Fridays.
Dubai Metro (Red Line and Green Line) Monday to Thursday: 5:00 AM – 12:00 AM Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day) Saturday: 5:00 AM – 12:00 AM Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Dubai Tram Monday to Saturday: 6:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day) Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 AM (next day)
Plan Your Ramadan 2026 Commute Around the Clock
If you only take one thing away: Ramadan 2026 brings a full commute refresh across Dubai. Salik runs AED 4 pricing during the key evening hours, parking has a two-block weekday schedule with a free gap near Iftar, and the Metro and Tram extend late service — with Fridays running until 1:00 AM. Save the timings and plan your drive around the schedule, not guesswork.
