The last day of the 23rd Ru’ya Careers UAE run on 26th September 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) proved a success to both job seekers and employers. During three days thousands of Emirati youth effectively communicate with leading domestic and international organizations, where hundreds of requests for on-the-spot employment were offered. From the disclosed 3,000 vacancies, many interviews were held, and numerous candidates received an opportunity to be employed right away, in case the officials found some vacancies among the 3,000 confirmed ones.
The last days attracted a lot of traffic as the numerous professionals interested in employment found a great opportunity to meet any employer interested in them at the DWTC. Asma Alsharif – Assistant Vice President of Sustainable Development, Exhibitions at DWTC – said she was glad that the event remains pertinent and useful in the quest to place more Emiratis in the workforce, particularly for businesses. She underlined the event’s importance of advancing the vision of the leadership of the nation by giving the first steps to the young Emiratis towards successful careers.
In 2019, Ru’ya Careers UAE 2024 added new sub-sectors in construction, facilities, media & marketing, E-commerce and chemicals and got a promising response from new participants.
The next Ru’ya Careers UAE is planned for September 23 to 25, 2025, and it will likely perpetuate its function in offering young talent employment.
