The 23rd edition of Ru'ya Careers UAE concluded on 26 September 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), delivering hundreds of on-the-spot job offers to Emirati job seekers from a pool of 3,000 confirmed vacancies. Over three days, thousands of UAE nationals engaged directly with more than 150 leading local and international organisations at one of the country's largest career fairs.

Record Job Offers at Ru'ya Careers UAE 2024

The final day drew a surge of professionals eager to meet employers at DWTC. Asma Alsharif, Assistant Vice President of Sustainable Development and Exhibitions at DWTC, said she was glad the event remained pertinent and useful in placing more Emiratis in the workforce. She underlined its importance in advancing the nation's leadership vision by providing young Emiratis with their first steps toward successful careers.

On-site interviews ran throughout the three days, with major organisations including ABB, BCG, Deloitte, DP World, Emirates NBD, and Galadari Brothers conducting structured 15-minute sessions through the event's Get Hired! activation.

Sponsors and Key Participants

The 2024 edition attracted strong corporate backing. First Abu Dhabi served as Platinum Sponsor, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) came on board as Gold Sponsor. Air Arabia and United Arab Bank supported the event as Support Sponsors.

PwC Middle East highlighted its Emiratisation track at the fair. The firm employs over 1,200 GCC nationals — including 242 Emiratis — across 14 GCC offices and has trained more than 8,000 Emiratis to date.

New Sectors and Competitions

Ru'ya Careers UAE 2024 expanded into new sub-sectors, adding construction, facilities management, media and marketing, e-commerce, and chemicals — all of which attracted a promising response from first-time participants.

Student competitions were also a highlight. The Design Lab was won by Dubai National School – Al Barsha, while the Next Founder bootcamp was won by Dubai National School – Al Twar, with five cash prizes distributed among winners.

Next Edition: September 2025

The next Ru'ya Careers UAE is scheduled for 23–25 September 2025, with the event expanding to Halls 1–4 and Zabeel Hall 3 at DWTC. It is expected to build on this year's record-breaking outcomes and continue connecting Emirati talent with top employers across the UAE.
