New Scrutiny on Employee Degrees at Kuwait’s Agriculture Authority

KUWAIT CITY, May 18, 2024: Asmaa Murshid Al-Otaibi, the Acting Director of the Public Authority for Agriculture and Fish Resources, has announced a specialized team formation to scrutinze the educational certificates of the employees of the Authority, who are citizens as well as residents.

The team leader, Al-Otaibi, says, in her talk with Al-Rai, that the team will get together next week, in order to document the mechanism and deadline for getting the academic qualifications confirmed. On the first of January, “The team’s mandate is for three months,” Al-Otaibi said, repeating that all persons who hold academic qualifications above high school level and have been obtained between 1 January 2000 to the present moment must submit a scanned copy their degrees. These documents must be officially accompanied released by the Ministry of higher education in tandem with the prevailing rules.

The Al-Otaibi underlined the significance of conducting to the stipulation of this order and pursuing the verdicts announced by the Civil Service Commission. She pointed out that failure to provide the required documentation could lead to enforcement procedures initiated by the authority competent for the purpose.

Through this program, the Authority demonstrates its determination to preserve the formidable reputation of its workers by providing rules and regulations amongst which credentials may be deemed proper.
