Qatar and Canada Conduct First Round of Political Consultations

High-Level Delegations Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties in Doha

  • The HQ of the first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and Canada took place in Doha yesterday and will serve as an example of the motivation of relations and establishment of cooperation.
  • The two leaders engaged in number of consultations aimed at identifying the prospects for improving the relations and touched upon the issues concerning their diplomacy and the bilateral cooperation.
  • The meeting was aimed at proving strong desire between Qatar and Canada for further enhancement of their relation and cooperation in specific and shared areas of concern.

Doha: The HQ of the first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and Canada took place in Doha yesterday and will serve as an example of the motivation of relations and establishment of cooperation. These discussions were chaired by H. E. Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar & Alexandre Leveque Advisor, Assistant Deputy Minister, Europe, Arctic, Middle East & Maghreb, Global Affairs Canada, Canada.

The two leaders engaged in number of consultations aimed at identifying the prospects for improving the relations and touched upon the issues concerning their diplomacy and the bilateral cooperation. The meeting was aimed at proving strong desire between Qatar and Canada for further enhancement of their relation and cooperation in specific and shared areas of concern.

The talks are a continuation of the processes aimed at bringing about more friendly relations between the two countries and finding new spheres for collaboration.
