Netflix is converting two vacant department store spaces into Netflix House — permanent, year-round entertainment destinations that bring the streaming giant's biggest shows to life. The two inaugural locations are King of Prussia Mall in Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania, and Galleria Dallas in Texas, each occupying more than 100,000 square feet.
What Is Netflix House?
Netflix House expands on the company's earlier temporary pop-up installations, each of which focused on a single show such as "Bridgerton," "Stranger Things," or "Squid Game." The permanent venues go much further: visitors can expect exhibits, sculptures, retail stores, eateries, and continuously refreshed immersive experiences tied to the breadth of Netflix's programming catalog.
The Vision Behind the Venues
Marian Lee, Netflix's Chief Marketing Officer, explained the concept: "Currently, it is possible to visit Netflix House — the continuously refreshed experiential entertainment space that combines shopping, moments of presence in the series and in the films, and even food and drink menu with series and film characters' creations to taste. It is the new generation of Netflix brand's unique concepts. We have opened more than 50 experiences in 25 locations today, and Netflix House is one of them."
A New Chapter for Physical Entertainment
The Netflix House concept is designed to deepen fan connection with popular shows and films, letting audiences step inside the worlds they watch on screen. The permanent format also carries commercial ambition — a year-round footfall driver anchored inside major retail malls that need to replace lost anchor tenants.
As Netflix moves forward with its physical entertainment strategy, Netflix House signals how streaming platforms are extending beyond the screen and into real-world venues that blend fan experience, dining, and retail under one roof.
