The UAE-based autonomous mobility company Autogo operates under Kintsugi Holding as it conducts RoboTaxi service trials in Abu Dhabi for the development of advanced smart transportation. With cooperation between Baidu’s autonomous ride-hailing subsidiary Apollo Go and Autogo the company pursues urban transportation innovation through advanced AI-powered electric-driven self-driving taxicabs.

Autogo a UAE-based autonomous mobility company under Kintsugi Holding conducts RoboTaxi service trials in Abu Dhabi to change the way cities move.
The RoboTaxi testing operations remain under joint supervision between Autogo and Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) to merge with city transportation networks. Next-generation self-driving vehicles offer users a combination of safety features together with sustainability along with operational efficiency at a replacement for classic transportation options.

The purpose of RoboTaxis entails precision driving through real-time AI-driven responses.

The removal of human errors from driving will achieve better road safety.

Optimal route calculations help decrease traffic congestion routes.

Delivery of sustainable transportation happens through operations that solely use electric power with no emissions.

The initiative lays foundation for building smart technology in the future.
Matthew Steigerson of Apollo Go leads development of the RT6 RoboTaxi which represents a 6th-generation autonomous vehicle for commercial ride-hailing that creates an elevated safe and comfortable ride system. The autonomous driving assessment by Apollo Go has reached 150 million kilometers while achieving 10 million ride orders across the global markets.

The new initiative has substantial effects according to Sean Teo who serves as Kintsugi Holding’s Managing Director.
RoboTaxi pilot operations in Abu Dhabi represent the start of extensive advanced mobility changes across urban landscape. The dual purpose of RoboTaxis focuses on maximizing transportation sustainability and increasing road security.

Autogo and Apollo Go will improve their autonomous systems throughout the trials while interacting with the public before launching a comprehensive autonomous transport system in 2026 to establish Abu Dhabi as a leader in this field.
