Dubai’s wellness scene continues to evolve, and a new destination is preparing to raise the bar. Sacra, a first-of-its-kind Russian-inspired bathhouse and spa, is set to open in Jumeirah, bringing a heritage-led approach to relaxation that blends ancient rituals with modern wellness innovation.

Located on 17B Street, Sacra spans three levels and covers 2,400 square metres, positioning itself as the largest bath and wellness complex in the region. Designed with carefully separated spaces for men and women, the concept focuses on balance — between heat and cold, stillness and recovery, tradition and technology. The complex is scheduled to open in March 2026.

At the heart of Sacra is its standout feature: a 50-square-metre Russian banya chamber, the largest of its kind in the Middle East. Heated by a powerful 55-tonne gas system, the chamber delivers an authentic banya experience using hot air, steam, water, and traditional herbal whisks made from fir, birch, and oak. This time-honoured ritual is known for improving circulation, easing muscle tension, and encouraging deep physical and mental relaxation.

Beyond the banya, Sacra offers a comprehensive hydrothermal journey. Facilities include a Turkish hammam, Finnish sauna, speciality steam rooms, jacuzzis, ice baths, cold plunge barrels, a cryotherapy chamber, pressure chamber, floating therapy zone, and a salt grotto designed to support respiratory health and skin renewal. A curated menu of massages, spa rituals, and personalised body treatments is delivered by expert therapists, with long-term wellbeing at the core of the experience.

For guests seeking privacy, Sacra features three exclusive VIP Suites. The Chalet Suite evokes a luxury alpine retreat, the Moroccan Suite is inspired by calming garden tones and natural textures, while the USSR Suite offers a nostalgic atmosphere with warm red wood and vintage detailing.

Dining is also a key part of the experience. Sacra Restaurant brings together Mediterranean flavours, premium steakhouse classics, and Eastern European comfort dishes, alongside wellness-focused plates and a dedicated caviar menu — a signature touch from the Bulldozer Group, known for its upscale hospitality concepts.

Completing the offering is SKIN 111, a wellness and longevity clinic housed within the complex, providing medically led treatments that align with Sacra’s holistic, full-spectrum approach.

Alexander Orlov, Founder and CEO of Bulldozer Group, said Sacra reflects Dubai’s growing appetite for elevated wellness experiences. He described the concept as a place designed not just for relaxation, but for genuine renewal that extends beyond the visit itself.

Sacra marks Bulldozer Group’s first major step into the wellness sector in Dubai, following the success of its luxury dining brands such as Dragonfly and La Baia.

Sacra is set to open soon in Jumeirah.
