flydubai Launches New Daily Service from Dubai to Bhairahawa, Nepal

Direct Flights to Gautam Buddha International Airport Begin November 2024

flydubai is to commence its daily flight operations to Bhairahawa Airport in Nepal from 10th November 2024. These flights will be in Dubai International Airport located in Terminal 2 giving passengers an addition entry point to Nepal. , return flights from Bhairahawa to Dubai will be in Kathmandu effectively meeting the need for travel from Dubai to Nepal arising with the opening of new flights to Dubai.

Highlighting the fact, Sudhir Sreedharan, flydubai’S Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations said that the Bhairahawa Airport connects to Nepal’s Lumbini Province which is known as the birthplace of Lord Buddha. This new route demonstrates flydubai’s focus on the offering of multiple travel options with the help of Dubai’s aviation connectivity.

flydubai has been serving Nepal since 2009 directly at first flying to Kathmandu only. The airline has since transported over three million passengers between the two countries in the UAE and Nepal. The network of the carrier has grown to comprise 126 locations in 55 countries.

Daily flights to Bhairahawa will operate from DXB; return economy lite fares start from AED 1,800 and Business Class fares from AED 3,600.

Emirates will operate codeshare on this route which opens up even more options for travelers through the Dubai based hub.
