Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has made parking and public transportation changes for the Eid Al Adha holiday in 2025. RTA posts the updates, made through their X account, for many facilities such as public parking, the Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, buses, marine transport and Customer Happiness Centres.

There are many public parking spaces available for free in Dubai.
From June 5 to June 8, parking in Dubai will not be charged for any driver. Still, visitors will find that multi-story parking facilities operate normally and you will have to pay for access.

Dubai Metro will keep running for extra hours.
Dubai Metro will keep running for longer shifts to meet the higher demand of passengers during the celebrations. 5am to 1am (the next day) will be the operating time for stations on the Red and Green Lines during the period of June 4 to June 7.

The course of the Dubai Tram
Over the same four-days period, the Dubai Tram will be operational from 6am all the way to 1am (next day) to ensure most areas of the city remain well-connected.

Public Buses
RTA suggests people use the S’hail app to get the bus schedules for Eid. Route E100 which normally starts at Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, will be suspended from June 4 to 8.

Smart Services and marine transport
Users are advised to use the RTA website for their marine transport schedule needs. Altogether, the Customer Happiness Centres will not be available over the holiday, but Smart Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha and the RTA Head Office will be open.

The holiday of Eid Al Adha honors Prophet Ibrahim for his commitment and offering. As a result, both public and private employers give employees time off and these changes help ensure that everyone in Dubai can enjoy their holiday travels easily.
