Dubai to Host First Aviation Future Week in October 2024

Emirates Airline and the Museum of the Future have set a date for the first Aviation Future Week to take place in Dubai starting from October 15 to 17 in, 2024, the event will cover UAE ministers, senior government officials and global leaders in airline aerospace, air freight MRO and logistics industries.

The Future of Passengers, Traffic Demand & Logistics and AI & Extended Reality (XR) will be discussed in a three day event. Main topics to be covered by key industry dialogue will revolve around realizing increased performance and improving the societal value of passenger travel by leveraging sustainability and innovation within the constantly evolving aviation industry context.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline & Group, added: “Dubai’s leadership long-term vision of developing technology and innovation makes it possible for radical ideas on the future of the aviation industry to be seeded. ”

The first session of the programme on the first day will look into the demand for airline service, airport development and use of technology to enhance the shoppers’ experience. Day two will concentrate more on innovations in Airfreight, Logistics & MRO. The last thematic will address Web3, AI, and XR solutions’ implications for the disruption of aviation procedures and personnel training.

Besides exciting discourses, this event will also consist of an exhibition where Aviation Future Week visitors will be able to meet each other and discuss the novelties in the sphere of aviation technology. There would be also engaging workshops from the Museum of the Future and partners including Boeing and the Emirates Group Youth Council as well as from Emirates.
