The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has been selected by ESRI to receive the 2024 SAG Award for the Entity GIS Platform. This award recognizes RTA position as a pioneer in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology in the management, operation, and delivery of services. This achievement also proves that RTA is a strategic partner for the Dubai Government’s plans, and the further evolution of city infrastructure.
Hessa Al Suwaidi the Director of Information Technology at the RTA said that the GIS built with Esri solution is in compliance with the best business continuity disaster recovery and task automation practices and with strict standards of information security.
The award affirms RTA’s readiness to play the exciting technological platform as Dubai envisions in transforming into the smart and sustainable city.
