Key Updates for Ramadan 2025
The toll-free window from 2am to 7am is designed to cover the suhoor period, allowing motorists to travel without charge before the pre-dawn meal and Fajr prayers. This free window applies every day of the week throughout Ramadan.
Additionally, the extended off-peak rate of AED 4 — covering the evening period from 5pm to 2am — helps ease traffic and costs around iftar time, when roads typically see a surge in volume.
Al Safa and Al Mamzar Gates: No Change
The toll structure at Al Safa North, Al Safa South, Al Mamzar North, and Al Mamzar South remains unchanged. Vehicles using the same direction at these gates within one hour are not charged an additional crossing fee.
Stay Updated via Official Channels
Road conditions and any last-minute adjustments to Ramadan toll timings will be communicated through the official Salik and RTA social media accounts. Motorists are advised to follow these channels for the latest information throughout the holy month.
Safe travels, and Ramadan Mubarak!
