Dubai Airports Celebrates UAE Founding Fathers with Special Passport Stamp

Dubai Airports in coordination with the GDRFA is stamping passport with a special logo of the marvellous leadership of the founders of the UAE; Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. This campaign is part of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign that aims at honoring visionaries who set the groundwork to achieving the success story the UAE boasts of today.

 

A Tribute to Legacy

Created by Brand Dubai, an initiative of Dubai Media Office, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the #ZayedAndRashid focuses on the tribute to UAE’s visionary leaders. Endorsed by 53 government and private bodies, the pulse captures the incredible story of the UAE’s evolution, from a vision of innovation to prosperity to unity.

 

National Celebrations

It fits the spirit of the United Arab Emirates celebrations, starting from November, 3rd and finishes on the December, 2nd with Eid Al Etihad. Passports of the visitors to Dubai will be customized with the special logo till the end of the year, as a token of appreciation for the leadership that helped create the country.

 

Campaign Highlights

The #ZayedAndRashid campaign features various activities and installations:

 

  • Flag Garden: A colorful show dedicated to country’s patriotism.
  • Iconic Mural: This art is a portrait of the founding fathers installed on the Gate Building of the Dubai International Financial Centre.

These efforts promote UAE’s culture and its accomplishments with the purpose of creating unity and nationality feelings among people.

 

Inspiring a Nation

The #ZayedAndRashid campaign highlights that the UAE has not lost its culture roots but wholly and completely supports the spirit of progress. By providing active engagement activities and experiences, Dubai supports its leaders – past and present, as well as provide visitors and inhabitants a glimpse of their rich history.

 

The campaign ends the 2 nd of December allowing everyone to share in the festivities.
