Dubai Art Season.
The Sikka Art and Design Festival launches this weekend as part of the ongoing Dubai Art Season The Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood hosts the Sikka Art and Design Festival between January 31 and February 9 which features Emirati and resident artists while presenting diverse art forms through workshops and conversations alongside music and live performances.
Under the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy the festival delivers a comprehensive lineup that combines 450 workshops with 100 live performances alongside 13 theatrical shows and six orchestral concerts. The Firdaus Orchestra led by A.R. Rahman performs alongside the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Dubai City Sound ensemble as the festival’s top draw.
Alongside homegrown F&B concepts visitors can experience exclusive ‘House of Saffron’ supper clubs prepared by nine eminent chefs. The cultural celebration at Dubai Opera will feature musical and theatrical events but exact program information is upcoming.
The upcoming Dubai Art Season 2025 kicked off on January 4 and will reach its climax during Art Dubai at Madinat Jumeirah between April 18 and April 20 with exhibitions from a diverse set of 60+ cities. The current annual event presents contemporary masterpieces alongside digital exhibits with unique commissioned artworks.
