Dubai Media and NEP Group have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation across broadcast technology, logistics, and media content production. The agreement positions Dubai Media to leverage NEP Group's global expertise as it works to grow its reach across television and digital platforms.
MoU Signed at the 22nd Arab Media Forum
The MoU was formalised on the sidelines of the 22nd Arab Media Forum at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Saleh Lootah, Deputy CEO of Technical Support at Dubai Media, and Saeed Izadi, President of NEP Singapore, India, and Middle East, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The forum, a flagship event for the regional media industry, provided the platform for Dubai Media to announce one of its most significant international partnerships to date.
What the MoU Covers
Under the agreement, Dubai Media gains access to NEP Group's digital tools, technology, and skilled workforce. Specifically, the MoU covers:
- External broadcast support for Dubai Media's productions within and outside the UAE - Access to NEP's global network and its future operations centre for high-quality media services - Operational capacity building, improving Dubai Media's production quality and logistics - Live TV and remote broadcast, on-demand video production, and virtual production capabilities

Strategic Goals for Dubai's Media Sector
Salem Belyouha, Chief Content Officer at Dubai Media, underlined the significance of the partnership for the wider industry. He said: "Dubai Media's vision is to produce quality media content that meets the development agenda of Dubai and the UAE, and this partnership with NEP is a major strategic milestone in achieving the objectives of growing the media industry and positioning Dubai as a premier content production hub."
Saeed Izadi welcomed the agreement from NEP's side. "This partnership will support Dubai Media and enable its teams to utilise the very best broadcast technology," he said. "Delivery of premier content to viewers within and outside the UAE is expected to be facilitated by this synergy."

The Dubai Media–NEP Group MoU reflects a broader effort to upgrade the emirate's media infrastructure.
