The new program by the Dubai Municipality has been unveiled at the 2024 Ru’ya UAE Careers of ‘Talent 71’ that was recently initiated to develop the competency capacity of Emirati graduates. The rationale behind the scheme is to equip the participants with the enhanced and practical skills and abilities to enable them to perform dynamic positions in the Dubai Municipality.

The Talent 71 programme offers five specialized training streams: engineering, public utilities, information technology and artificial intelligence, health and safety and waste management and sanitation. Each stream is relevant to the fast-growing sectors, ways to enhance the effectiveness and effectiveness of related operations, and potential benefits for Dubai’s society and environment.

This trained system of Talent 71 is reinforced with the recent trends to increase the efficiency of the workforce and the effectiveness of the community services they offer, said Lootah.

The programme is expected to harmonise and step up the operations of the Municipality as well as improve the quality of services which are to be offered to the public as well as boost the nation’s development. It will provide employees the ‘real’ experience on core projects and government schemes handled by the Municipality with special reference to emerging technologic disruptions like digitization and Artificial Intelligence.

Talent 71 highlights the DM’s initiative in development of the knowledge economy and provision of useful and sustainable youth employment for UAE’s citizens. The initiative has a vision to impact the provision of the future workforce that would help in delivering the identified challenges in Dubai’s structuring infrastructure and public services provision.
