Dubai will be hosting the 3rd version of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, aimed at selecting contents for the social media platforms out of which some will receive a slice of a one million dollars reward in January 2025. The New Media Academy said that the summit will be under the theme “Content for Good” which seeks to identify social good creators ful chữa điều trên mặt phẳng digital in providing content that creates a positive change locally, regionally, and internationally.
Lastly, it is important that the audience and participants in the summit will be the one voting for their favorite content creator in the award. The contestants will be selected from each of the four categories through an online vote and the winners will be chosen by a jury at the chefs’ forum.
The summit, scheduled for January 11-13, 2025, will take place across three venues: Jumeirah Emirates Towers – Museum of the Future and the Dubai International Financial Centre which is also in the vicinity. Its intended purpose is to reach those involved in art or intend to invest in art so that they can share ideas and designs on various projects.
They will assemble brilliant media influencers and content makers to air their views toward new media in supporting countries’ economy and sustainability. Alia Al Hammadi, CEO of New Media Academy also pointed out that the focus of the summit is in the shift in the current digital media techniques and develop the skills of the promising individuals.
One new feature of the summit is great finds or the “1B Pitches,” intended to generate funding for great idea content creators. Again, showrunners and producers will present their concepts to prominent financiers and companies giving them a hub through which their inventions can be actualized.
The summits held in the past were great, where the previous one held in January 2024 witnessed the participation of more than 7,000 attendees from 95 countries, and the social media engagement reached more than 300 million.
Speakers for this 2025 Summit will also cover eminent ambassadors such as Ahmed El Ghandour, the host of the Al Daheeh YouTube show and Anas Marwah and Asala Maleh from the Anazala family channel with more than forty million subscribers.
