Trump Tower Dubai has moved from headline-grabbing announcement to real-world construction, as Dar Global officially kicks off groundwork on the ultra-luxury super-tower set to rise at the gateway of Downtown Dubai.
The London-listed developer has appointed Edrafor Emirates to handle the enabling works for the 80-storey Trump International Hotel and Tower, Dubai, marking the first on-site phase of the project. The contract was confirmed on December 10, 2025, months after the tower was unveiled in April.
Once completed, the skyscraper will soar 350 metres above Sheikh Zayed Road, blending five-star hospitality, branded residences, and The Trump private members club into one high-profile address. Dar Global says the project is designed to sit among the most prestigious developments in the city, targeting global investors and ultra-high-net-worth buyers.

Early works will focus on ground engineering, deep enabling systems, and site logistics, preparing the plot for full-scale vertical construction. It’s the quiet but crucial stage before Dubai’s next headline tower starts climbing the skyline.
Among the standout features planned: what’s being billed as Dubai’s highest outdoor swimming pool, along with two ultra-exclusive penthouses inspired by the original Trump Tower on New York’s Fifth Avenue. Residents and guests will also have direct sightlines to the Burj Khalifa, reinforcing the project’s prime positioning.
“Dubai continues to attract global investors seeking exclusivity and architectural distinction,” said Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, adding that moving into site execution reflects the company’s commitment to delivering a landmark destination.
Edrafor Emirates’ General Manager Pierre Fayad called the project one of the city’s most ambitious, saying the firm will ensure a precise and high-standard start to construction.
